Shutter Roadmap 2024 (And Beyond)

The year 2024 started with some significant progress in the Shutter ecosystem. We released the blueprint for a Shutter DAO, and shortly after, the community launched Shutter DAO 0x36. We also unveiled a Shutterized OP Stack testnet with a roadmap. In the past weeks, we made significant announcements regarding collaborations with EigenLayer, Mode, and Espresso.

Shutterized OP Stack Testnet SHOP Now Live on Sepolia!

We are excited to announce the Shutterized Optimism testnet L2 launch on Sepolia. This launch marks the availability of a Shutterized encrypted mempool for the OP Stack, aiming to prevent front-running and provide a censorship-resistant trading environment.

There's still some work to do to make this a fully-fledged, seamless developer and user experience, but this is a super important milestone for Shutter and, more importantly, for base layer neutrality on L2s!

[RFP] Request for Proposals: Develop a Keyper Incentive Mechanism and (delegated) Staking

Shutter DAO 0x36 members have voted to start a Request for Proposals process 12 for contributors to apply to develop the mentioned incentive and staking mechanism.

Shutter DAO 0x36 will disburse up to 50,000 SHU tokens and 25,000 USDC to the selected contributor of the RFP to develop the incentive and staking mechanism.

The proposals should only focus on the technical aspects of developing the necessary smart contracts and front end and ensuring hosting of the front end. They should be agnostic (and fully configurable by Shutter DAO 0x36) regarding the economics, e.g., staking amounts or the amount of ETH or SHU rewards over time.
